Speaking of Baseball...

January January where do you think you are going??? Before you know it it will be baseball season!!! Speaking of baseball season check this out:

Tougher and Ferguson Named to Collegiate Baseball's Players to Watch List
LRC baseball players B Tougher (my son:) and T Ferguson have been named to the Collegiate Baseball's NCAA Division III Players to Watch list.

Tougher (my son:) enters the 2013 campaign after a fantastic freshman season that earned him ECAC and AMCC Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the AMCC All-Conference Second Team. He led the Redhawks in runs, hits, doubles, RBI, and total bases and ranked in the AMCC's top 10 in batting average, on base percentage, hits, and RBI.

Ferguson finished last season with a 4-2 record and a 4.47 ERA. He ranked in the AMCC top 10 in strikeouts, runs allowed, and opponent batting average. He also registered a win in the Redhawks 3-0 victory over Penn State Behrend in the AMCC Semifinal and started La Roche's first-ever NCAA Tournament game.

I am a proud mama bear!!!

It seems like yesterday they were running around the little league bases with baggy baseball shirts and baseball hats that didn't quite fit.

I never will forget that day I fell in love with Baseball!
